I'm new to this brand and wanted something different for my card-making hobby. I was pleasantly surprised with the intense colors, and the variety in this pack. Can't say it was easy to clean up since the colors stay where they are put. Any cleanup needs to be immediate, otherwise, it won't come off. I used a cosmetic sponge to apply color, so it can be applied in layers for more depth as needed, or lightly for just a hint of color. Overall, even though it seems to be designed for children, I quite enjoy using it ( as a non-artist) and am please with this affordable purchase.
