(1) I like these bowls a lot. Frankly, I use it daily. It is large bowl thus, holds quite a bit of food for an adult stomach who like me lazy to go back for a second portion. I put food in bowl, warm up in microwave, and enjoy it while watching news, movie, or sports, etc., (2) However, the stamped logo, brand at the bottom of bowls faded quickly I think it shouldn't after several washes in dishwasher. (3) Set comes in of 4. Some bowls are smooth, perfect, but some are not, do have bumps. You need to inspect and decide for yourself. (4) Overall, I am very happy with mine. Update: Unable to remove spaghetti sauce stain outside bottom of the bowls.

This was my first AMAZON order of porcelain bowls by Lifver - the second was this: Lifver 12-Oz Porcelain Bowls,Natural White,Set of 6 - and I'm very pleased with both sets. While these are not $1,000-per set fine Noritake bone china nor 1950's Syracuse premium restaurant ware, they are very nice quality and aesthetically pleasing. The glaze and finish is very nice; lines are simple and classic, and they have been durable enough to survive daily handling and use by an old, clumsy, impatient crippled guy with lots of nerve damage and arthritis - if that's something you can relate to. I really think they an excellent bargain for the money. I also like the fact they are bright white; I like being able to see at a glance that my dinnerware is spotless. The 18-ounce bowls are perfect for larger portions of rice, noodles etc., and the 12-ounce bowls are well suited for sides - cold noodles, dipping sauce, individual components of Asian dishes. Too much white for you? Add color and accent with something like these free-standing red and black spoons: Happy Sales Melamine Soba, Rice Spoons, Chinese Won Ton Soup Spoon, Asian Red and Black, 6 Pack Notch & Hook Style / I WILL be buying more Lifver products. (Note too,their packaging is excellent.)
