The scale comes with its battery which is nice that you don't have to run out and get one. It's easy to use and the weights are in tenths. I gave it only 4 stars because as soon as you let go of the item you are weighing the weight dissappear. So if you are weighing something heavy, it makes it hard to see the weight. I had thought the description of the item said the weight stayed on. That's why I purchased it.
