Didn't work. Don't waste your money. We set it to a cat setting & our neighbors cat got within s few feet of it. Didn't even seem to notice, let alone hear it..

No effect on squirrels

It didn't seem to me this product was working as I adjusted the settings higher and higher to repel some pesky squirrels. Then one morning at dusk, I was sure. I watched from my window as a squirrel approached the area, the sensor light came on and the squirrel didn't seem to notice anything at all. Eventually, the squirrel was close enough that it hopped right over the sensor. The settings were at the most sensitive for small animals, as noted in the instructions.

We bought solar gard to keep the many squirrels out of our yard because they dig up and destroy many of our flowers that we purchase and plant each year. The high squirrel traffic is do to our neighbor that feeds the squirrels with piles of peanuts. Solar gard does not effect the birds, but it DOES keep the squirrels away in a HARMLESS matter! I bought one to see if it worked, it did, so I bought 2 more!!

Motion Detector Doesn't Work Unless You Move the Unit

Received this today and discovered that even on the most sensitive setting, the motion sensor wouldn't activate the unit, even when waving your hand a foot away from it. The only way it would operate was if you physically shook the unit which of course makes it USELESS. Surprisingly this is only available for purchase to Amazon Prime members. What an insult for our first purchase as Amazon Prime members!
