They are mostly PLASTIC very little metal on them which is not what the description made it sound like. I was expecting a metal plane with little bits of plastic (like a hot wheels) that's not the case. They are still cute and my plane obsessed kiddo is very happy

Not being an airplane buff, I can't speak to the accuracy of the planes, but they're roughly Hot-Wheel sized and fit the bill for my daughter to play with along with her cars. I was actually surprised at the quality - was expecting them to fall apart but they're still going strong after a few months at the hands of two rambunctious kids!

The product i purchased was a collection of die cast miniature airplanes. I bought these for my 8 yr. old great grandson who lost his massive collection that we had collected together for years.
