The arrow on the box tells you how to install correctly for your convenience. How simple is that. Perfect fit and great value for your money. For the odd ball size that these filters are, they fit well. Also, they are Merv8, which allows sufficient air through my gas heated furnace to not trip the "high limit" (which shuts the furnace down).
