We bought this item to lock up our medications as we have an 18-month-old in the house and wanted a redundant barrier to go along with our other child-proofing efforts. It is a large space and fits all of the medicines (some OTC and prescription meds) we had lying underneath our bathroom sink.

It locks and I'm confident a child wouldn't easily be able to break in out of curiosity. A child would quickly lose interest or be discovered before being able to open the case.

It does need to be assembled but this is stated in the product description but is mentioned in some negative reviews so I thought it worth mentioning here as well. I didn't assemble it but my wife did and she said it went together very easily. It feels pretty sturdy for a plastic box.

My only complaint is that it feels a little pricey for what you get. On the other hand it's a cheap price for piece-of-mind. Price is the only reason I give this product 4 stars. You could accomplish similar piece-of-mind by placing medicines high and out of reach but children are curious, clever little animals and may still find a way to get to out of reach places. Ultimately I went with 4 stars because of Amazon's star rating suggestions. I like this product but I'm not in love with it. It does exactly what it says it will do.

Item arrived exactly as described. The color matched the image perfectly and it is very easy to use. This isn't the most sturdy storage boxes, but for the price this is more than I expected.

Purchased this to keep medicine out of reach of children. It is larger than I expected and has more than enough room to accommodate what I needed to lock up. Setup was simple, but did require some strength to line up all sides. The lock is quite secure. Overall, this was exactly what was needed.

After a friend's baby got into a medicine cabinet and swallowed a ton of pills, I knew I wanted something to lock away our medicines (baby is fine, btw).

This box works great: large enough to fit a lot of medicines, creams, etc. Lockable, to keep kids out. Reasonable price.

Took about 20 minutes to assemble. Solid and durable. I needed space to lock items away from my kids. I keep this under my desk and don't have to worry about personal items sitting on my desk surface that the kids can grab.
