Beautiful Trumpet

It is a beautiful trumpet.
The company Jean Paul USA provides an online maintenance tutorial to help keep the trumpet in clean and tip top shape.
Now I am just a noob, however, when I do get sound through, it sounds fine.

More than Good Enough for Grade School Students

We bought it for our middle school aged child. We are not musically gifted, can't speak to the sound quality. Our child's picky band teacher has not complained. If it is okay with him, it is more than fine with us. The build quality is good. Everything fits nicely and works smoothly out of the box. I have taken it completely apart, saw no residue from manufacturing process. Very clean.
After having watched their helpful trumpet cleaning video, I am sure I can take proper care of the trumpet and keep it in tip top condition for many years to come. Because this trumpet is reasonably priced, money leftover can be used to purchase a 3-Year Musical Instruments Accident Protection Plan and a name brand mouthpiece (goes into the mouth, we prefer named over no named one). All in all, this is a sensible way to go. We know our child is not going be a professional musician, this horn is more than good enough to meet our child's music educational needs. No need to buy or rent a $1500-$2000 pro level trumpet.

I recently bought this instrument for my son for 6th grade band. I was looking for something that was not too expensive but of quality made. He loves it. I believe it is a far better trumpet than the one that was burrowed to him by the school last year. As all kids do, somehow within the weeks of using his instrument in band, he lost the padded straps that I put in his case. I contacted Jean Paul through email on their website for a replacement, not knowing what to expect. Their response time was very courteous and efficient, within an hour or two. Josh contacted me and said that they would be happy to send me a replacement. I was over joyed that Jean Paul will be able to send me a replacement as soon as I provided my contact information.
This is a great instrument but more than that, it comes with great customer service. For now, we are enjoying our new trumpet.

Got the trumpet today..opened the box and checked everything carefully. The trumpet is VERY nice and well put together. I am an old guy that used to play a Bach 300 many years ago. I sold that one a couple of years ago because of other hobbies. Comparing the two I found the Jean Paul as good or even better! The TR 430 was recommended to me by Jean Paul customer support and I have to say they where spot on. They also responded to my question very quickly, which is very unusual today. After a little cleaning and lubrication I tested the trumpet in my basement. I found it very easy to play, had a very nice, warm tone and was well intonated and responsive. Over all I am extremely happy with my purchase and can't wait to improve my playability as I am a bit rusty after many years without playing. I STRONGLY recommend Jean Paul trumpets! I don't believe you can find a better trumpet in this price class and that is my honest opinion!

A familar story....I played a trumpet as a young kid.....50 years ago. My daughter has been playing for a few years through school and I decided to get back into the music world. Researched online many instruments and found the Jean Paul site. I read the reviews regarding the quality of the instrument and the level of satisfaction of the purchasers. I called the place before a final decision to purchase and after describing my history, was easily convinced (without any hard sell,btw) to make the purchase. Add me to the list of happy owners of a TR-430 Intermediate Trumpet! A beautiful instrument....easy to play.....would not change a thing about it!
