Not impressed with the build quality or image quality. I don't expect them to last long.

Not impressed with the build quality of these cameras. Seem to be very cheap plastic and I don't expect them to hold up very long. You get what you pay for. I hope the electronics inside are better than the housings.
Good cheap replacement cameras for those on a budget.

Cheap cameras that were a good replacement for some Night Owl cameras that stopped working after a couple of years. These are very similar to the Night Owl cameras. Decent TV Resolution depending on your DVR. Hook up was easy and audio was a plus. Not vandal proof or resistant since the entire body is made of plastic and the ring twists off, but for the price they are good. So far working as expected.

I have 2 dvr systems where I use this camera. It is the only one I have found that is compatible with both. This makes my life allot easier because I don't have to keep different cameras in stock for each system, plus I know if I order them, they will work. One of the DVRS is an HIK dvr and the other is a the other is an Everfocus. The cameras work well and are just plug and play. The view is a bit fish eyed but they they are bright, in focus and clear. They seem to go from ir to non ir smoothly. I've had trouble with other cameras expecially where people like to keep the light low in their office.
I've been using them for about 2 years and non of them has failed. This is pretty good. I've had much more expensive cameras fail in a shorter time. These cameras are an very good value. They are very low cost and work well. I haven't used the built in Microphone yet. We have stand alone ones. But I think it is a great feature.
