This kayak is great! Nice a stable and easy to maneuver in lakes and rivers. Highly recommend this brand and company. Delivery was as advertised. In terms of size, weight, etc...I load this kayak on my vehicle by myself, with the proper kayak rack attachments. When used with a kayak dolly, it is very easy to maneuver on land as well.

Ordered this as it seemed just what I wanted. And it is! Seems like great quality and a few pounds lighter than similar brands. First time out was in a fast current and it tracked great with me in the stern seat. Very stable, easy to paddle and fished and paddled all day. FYI, I did not use the paddles it came with (2 of them) but my own from a few years ago. I also replaced the seat with a higher back but the two seats it comes with are ok and decent quality. All the hardware and fittings seem to be of good quality but ensure you tighten all screws (SS marine grade into brass fittings) before you travel and keep checking. I ended up putting a few drops of lock-tite into all the main screw fittings to be on the safe side.

The kayak in and of itself is good. I've taken it out twice with friends and have have a lot of fun. I don't have any comparison but we were moving more quickly than anyone else and one of us can take us where we need to go while the other fiddles with whatever they've messed up.

The issue is with the peripherals(and a nasty deep scratch it took when paddling to shore).

As someone said, the paddles aren't that great. In my opinion they should be longer - I'll often hit either side as I paddle. As I read reviews prior to purchase this was to be anticipated - if you have two people you can just paddle to each side and make do.

Second. On one side two of the the eyelets for the seats were gone after the drive home after the FIRST trip. As nothing is stripped it looks like they just fell out due to gravity and the vibrations caused by driving(the kayak sits more or less on its side on my rack). Needs threadlock.

Third, the cord for the front and back handles is shoddy. The cord for the front broke when tying the kayak down to head home after the SECOND trip. I tied it down with some paracord and I'm going to have to do that for the rear handle before I take this out again.

So, it's fun, and it works, but unless you're driving thirty a short way down the road expect to lose a few things.

I'm out two eyelets and the cord for the handles, front and back.

Regardless, I expect to enjoy this thing for years.

Can you guys send me some new eyelets(and their plastic backings, and the screws)? :/ I'll take care of the threadlock and quality cord for the front and back handles.

I'm very happy with my purchase! I ordered this kayak based on the price, package and reviews...and trips to a few of my local sporting goods stores to compare against other brands. At this price point I didn't find another kayak I felt compared in build quality. The extras that come with it are all a slight step above the competition.

A few days after I placed my order I recieved a call saying the color I order was on its way, but they had a different color kayak they could get to me even faster. I really wanted the grey camo and said I'd wait for it. I appreciated them wanting me out on the water as fast as possible. My order arrived two days later...still ahead of the delivery date. Expectations exceeded.

My son and I were out on the lake today and could not have asked for anything more. The kayak is fantastic and we both can't wait to enjoy it some more. I will absolutely recommend this kayak to anyone.

This is my first kayak. I like the fact that it came with two paddles and two seats. Rod holders are okay. I'm a bay fisher and have hit Port Mansfield and bay side at SPI, Texas.

This kayak takes on too much water even in light to no chop. I kayak solo so I sit in the back seat. On both occasions the kayak has filled with water in back seat and storage compartment.

I'm 5'10 , 210 lbs and the only thing I take with me is my camelback 64oz, two rods, a Super Stick, life jacket and required safety, air horn, Innovative bow light, YakAttack VisiPole II.

Port Mansfield was windy and moderate chop, didn't get as much water as I got when I went out on calm early morning (6:45AM) fishing trip.

Kayak almost bit bottom, glad I was in 4' - 5' of water in the bay.
