These boots are so perfect! They perfectly hug my thighs and are so so flattering. For reference, I'm 5'4 and the height is perfect!!
I wore them apple picking and they were so easy to clean since they're waterproof! Also great in the rain!!
There's no zipper at the bottom, but it's fine since my skinny jeans don't get pushed up when I put these boots on! 100% recommend.
If you're in between shoe half sizes though, I'd suggest going try going down a half size. I'm usually a 8-8.5 and the 8.5 is a little too loose, but doesn't bother me too much.

These boots were a great choice for a trip to Canada in early March -- still pretty cold, but also very wet with melting snow etc. These boots aren't insulated but with good socks they were plenty warm, and perfectly waterproof. The height is just over my kneecap (I'm 5'6"). The back stretches, so it goes over my sort of muscular calf without squeezing, and they rolled on and off easily in the TSA line at the airport. I wear an 8.5 and got an 8.5, and wore moderately thick wool socks with no problem. At the end of five days walking in them exclusively my feet felt fine. I wore them with leggings and tights mostly and with pants one day and all went fine. Highly recommend!!!

The boots are beautiful but they run quite large. I normally wear a 9M but the 9M in these boots is more like a 10. I guess I'll have to wear them with extra thick socks.
