Missing Straps

I tried contacting seller at phone number provided and got a recording. The recording asked to send a text so I did. I still haven't heard back but got an email to leave a review. I feel the product page is misleading. At the time of my purchase, nowhere was it stated straps were not included. The photos show the full hammock assembly. The seller should advise straps are needed. Im still confused, are they included or not? I received 2 lengths of plain rope. If I was an expert knot tier that might be ok but I think 99% of the folks buying hammocks are expecting straps with loops so the carabiners can attach. I have purchased 2 from FlagshipX and they are about the same quality and included straps, a tactical bracelet and lantern for the same price. I also have an eno hammock and straps. I like these others about the same so it comes down to price. The colors from Bear Butt are nice and I like the strap with loops through the end of the hammock. Odd that they would do that there but expect you to tie it to a tree with a 10' rope! Just be aware you will have to fork out $19 more to get it where you want it. So that's about $50 total.

Best hammocks on market! Don't let the price fool you... We live in Utah where these are made and so of course we took a chance on it. Supporting small businesses is a thing we love to do. First hammock we got we ordered through Bear Butt company. We had an incident with our Flamingo. Contacted company and was very impressed with response time..... 1 hour 😊 Not even 18 hours later a new one was delivered to our door at no cost, and without having to be troubled with sending back the first one we had issues with. Since then we have bought 3 more. Summer 2017 was filled many hammock adventures all over northern utah mountains and lakes. We even had bought a few strap sets and LOVE them! Very durable and well worth the money. Straps are easy to use and take less time them tying off rope each time. These hammocks are nuts, windproof, dry quick, durable, and great in any weather. No joke! My fam of 5 has enjoyed every second in them. We hung one from our tree out front like a swing, had the neighbor kids fighting over who was next to swing and do yoga tricks. BEAR butt has great customer service and great product.

I bought this hammock a few months ago, my first one ever. Well I finally got to use it over a four day camping outing in the forest. The hammock is extremely strong. I'm a big man 290lbs and it held me with no problem. My son also tried it and loved it. I suggest you buy their Kodiak hammock straps. I just ordered them today for our next outing. The ropes that come with the hammock are maybe 3/8" in diameter. Even double looping around the trees they cut into the bark. Also they stretch a lot. I had to re-tie the knot to shorten the length at least 4 times. Each time my butt was touching the ground and had to get up again to re-tie. The rope gets so tight it sounds like a bass guitar string and is heck to untie. I had to use pliers to undo it. Next time I'll use my head and use the Kodiak straps. The hammock appears to be well built and definitely large enough for two people but works well for 1. I'm sure this would hold someone much larger even maybe 500lbs. The BearButt hammock fits in a nice attached stuff sack and is very easy to do. It's amazingly small and would travel well in a day pack or backpack. I can see why there are so many 5 star reviews with the quality and lifetime guarantee!

I bought this hammock a few months ago by recommendation from a friend and I am very impressed with it! Any chance I get to use this thing I will take it out to find some trees and prop up with some friends. I was a little worried at first buying this hammock due to the company being fairly new and the price so low (seeing as I was ready to drop $70 on the Kammock Roo), but I went with it anyways knowing they have a no risk return program and I'm happier than ever to have gone with this hammock and I'm no doubt keeping it. The Bear Butt hammock is longer than the Eno Doublenest and just about as wide giving it a more comfortable lie and for half the price. Overall I'm completely satisfied with this product and will continue to recommend it to anyone in the market for a new hammock.

I bought this hammie back in september and take it everywhere with me! I'm an avid camper and festival goer so it gets some solid use! It's so easy to set up and take down and is so durable. Easily fits 2 people to comfortably sleep overnight together. Recently I found a couple holes in my hammie (self inflicted holes) and today it ripped completely. 10 minutes later I was in touch with bear butt and had another one sent my way FREE OF COST! And did I mention the entire custome service conversation was though TEXT MESSAGE!! It was the easiest conversation I've ever had.
