Bright colors wipe off easily with no mess!

The colors are very vibrant. I use them on a glossy black fridge calender magnet and they wipe right off. I have not tried using the gold or silver because the warning that they won't wipe off of chalkboards has me hesitant to use them. I have used all other colors though and they wipe off dry without incident. They write like a mix of paint markers and dry erase markers, not at all like chalk but I never really cared about it looking authentic. The reversible tips are useful. I keep the chisel tip on the white marker because it does help when you need to write small words or make fine lines. The blunt tip is better for drawing or writing large words. I think they could still be smaller but they are effective. They give you a pair of tweezers to switch the tips out without having to get ink on your fingers but it's so much easier to just grab the tip and flip it over with your fingers, I don't use the tweezers. The ink washes right off if you get it quickly so there's no stain on your hands. I have not tried writing on anything but my calendar so I do not know how these markers perform on other surfaces like glass or an actual chalkboard. These are the only liquid chalk markers I have used but I have no complaints. I would purchase these markers again.

I've had a black magnetic menu board on my fridge for 6 years now. I originally used these markers on it, and it was always so vivid and bright. Through the years, I bought other markers randomly, and the colors were always dull. I assumed it was because the menu board is used a lot and was not as good as it originally was.
I reordered these markers again and the colors are bright and vivid again. This brand just does it right. It looks so nice. The included stickers are great too. I've got them on our reusable cereal containers and the marker will wipe off with a towel, but stay put just from you grabbing them.

Normal if you've ever used liquid chalk. If not, know that these are like liquid, washable paint. Can be used on glass, plastic, metal, glossy board, LED boards, etc. Needs to be nonporous surface.
Takes a minute to get the chalk to come down. Follow directions. The blue one was super runny when it started but eventually evened out. Honestly, it was the only one I didn't use the directions on at first so I think a lot of liquid came out at first. It's fine now.
Tip is reversible: bullet or chisel. It comes with "tweezers" to get the tip out and reverse them, but I have not the finesse or patience to put it back in without getting chalk all over my fingers yet. There is a black one but in the pictures I used a black chalkboard, so I just made a little star (between pink and red).

I use the same ones at work, but we right a ton of info on a giant chalkboard and it sets for like a month. We typically clean the board with like LA awesome or some other cleaner. I want to love these. I really do. But so far they've been less than great. To get them to even work The first time is nearly impossible. I follow the directions, and shake and shake and shake for up to 10 minutes, and the "paint" still hasn't reached the tip. With about half of them I finally just flipped the tip around and it worked. The paint seems to get clogged once it reaches the end of the tip and won't make its way to the front.
Then they bleed heavily at first and quickly fade and run out, needing to repeat the shaking method for too many minutes again. It's just too much work for such little results in my opinion.

Cedar Group contacted me about my review and said they recently changed their formula and would love for me to give them another try. They sent me a new set for free. They were much easier to use this first time around. The liquid chalk filled the tip much quicker and it didn't take me forever to shake it into the tip. They are very vibrant and draw well. So far, I'm liking them better. I'll update again as I've used them a bit more to see if the drying out problem still persists or not.
