A bunch of our cubes are dented or bent - something heavy must have sat on top of them at some point (hence the 4 instead of 5), but they still work fine as math manipulatives - my kids love to stack them in patterns too. The interlock between the pieces is firm but not too firm for a 2 year old to pull apart and put together.
Not all colors in picture are included.

The picture shows brown, red, orange, green, white, blue, yellow and pink. The only colors in the pack are blue, yellow, green, orange and red!!! I needed ALL the colors for what I was planning to use it to teach. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!!!

These were perfect for my 5 year old learning addition and subtraction. He loves using these whole doing good homework. I like that they provide a visual for him to better understand the concept. He also likes to stack them up and count with them when he's not doing homework.
