I love the design of this umbrella. The quality is very good and the shape is beautiful. My only complaint is that the handle is very thin and it's rather heavy which makes it uncomfortable to hold. I can't tolerate using it because it literally makes my hand hurt to try to balance it upright. It was clearly designed with form in mind rather than function.
Really love the look, expected a little higher quality based off reviews, but it's good nonetheless.

I love this thing. It's a little flimsier than I expected based off reviews. Unlike the store bought stick umbrellas I've purchased at similar prices, it's not a straight line to slide the locking mechanism from the bottom closed position to the top locked open position. It's a little wibbly-wobbly of a process for me, and I have to really concentrate to focus on keeping it straight and not make it a chore.
I live in Florida. Everything rusts here. The handle I think is supposed to be real leather? I haven't had the heart to take off the plastic safety coating because I don't want to mess it up!! But the handle, too, is much thinner than my store bought stick umbrellas and doesn't really suit the weight of it.
I have yet to use it as a parasol, but it's done fine in the rain, I hope the UV ad is real, because I really need it for dog walks!!

A pretty umbrella that seems to be well made/stitched for the price. The quality seems okay and I do like that it is not compactable. It has the retro-cane umbrella length; but for my use it is impractical with a very skinny uncomfortable grip. Fingers were a little sore after holding it for a short time. Perhaps with gloves, it's a different story. This may be great for light drizzles without strong wind, or for blocking the sun. Also it does not have the typical parabolic depth which I like in most umbrellas that shield well.
