This is one of the most useful "gadgets" I've purchased recently. The plastic pouring shield that fits around the top of the Kitchen Aid bowl is good to keep splatter in the bowl, but this chute directs the added ingredients directly into the beater where it gets mixed in immediately and not scattered to the edges of the bowl. I am so in love with it that I have ordered one for all my family members and friends who have Kitchen Aid mixers - my little donation to making their baking easier. I would definitely recommend this item for anyone with a Kitchen Aid mixer - even though it says it fits most stand mixer bowls I can't attest to that. I do know that it fits the 4 qt, the 5 qt and the 6 qt kitchen aid stainless bowls.

Love the pouring chute. It makes adding ingredients a lot easier than the pouring chute that comes with the mixer. Made of thick metal so it won't bend. The best part, it takes up less storage space!

Love this chute for my mixer. I'd just gotten my mixer for Christmas & this was just the icing on the cake! Make life so much easier when you're adding ingredients.

I bought two of these pouring chutes, one for my granddauter who was sooooo excited to get it...funny how something so inexpensive can make two people so happy!! I love mine....no more messes on the cabinets when trying to get ingredients into the KitchenAid mixer....they should provide this item when we purchase their mixer...however, I am thankful that I found it and want to THANK YOU for making it available a such a good price!

I like this pouring chute for my Kitchenaid mixer. I have a 4.5 quart model and it works fine. In the past I have had the Kitchenaid pouring shield, which is a good product. It actually keeps flour and such splashing up into the air. But this pouring chute slips on and off easily. It fits many bowl sizes. Plus, it's made of stainless steel, so it's unbreakable. The Kitchenaid shield is plastic and you have to get the right size for your machine model.
