I bought two of these in good conscience thinking that I would not need to drill holes into my wall. It look so simple.. maybe too simple. Just peel and stick it on the wall! And so, I did.. It lasted 2 weeks and came crashing down in the middle of the night! Since I waited a couple of weeks before I stuck them to the wall, I no longer have the ability to return them!
DO NOT Buy these.. They DO NOT last long and it is not worth your money.

Great product, with one huge caveat. I had to purchase 5 - yes, FIVE - before I received both a left and a right end-cap without permanent scratches/marks/scuffs/etc. Sticks great and looks great, as long as you're willing to order 3-5 times as many as you actually need (and then return all the bad ones, of course).

I bought this towel holder to install on my glass shower door. The width of the shower door is less than the length of this product, so I was hoping I could shorten the rod prior to final installation. Although it's only three pieces in total, my suggestion is to take your time installing it. You can make an installation mistake if you're not paying attention. I marked both bracket locations with painters tape just above where the installation would be, so it's straight, and parallel to the floor. Make sure both brackets will be the same distance from the floor. Next, I cleaned the glass surface with rubbing alcohol, and air-dried. I installed the left bracket, making sure the rod hole was facing the correct direction, and then pressed firmly against the glass surface for a few minutes. Then, I added clear Gorilla Glue (non-foaming) across the top edge of the bracket. After waiting a day for it to fully cure, I measured the length the rod should be to fit properly, and cut it with a hacksaw (new blade). After peeling off the sticker backing on the other bracket, I inserted the rod in both brackets and pressed the second bracket against the glass in the correct position. The newly mounted bracket also received an application of clear Gorilla Glue across the top edge. Twenty four hours later, I applied GE Iron Grip 100% clear silicone adhesive around the entire edge of both brackets. The towel bar feels secure !!

These are great! Put up a towel bar and two matching hooks on the walls of a fiberglass shower stall. It's been 2 weeks and they are holding strong. Quality product with a brushed stainless steel look. You definitely need to measure and make marks with a level both vertically and horizontally for one side piece, remove the adhesive backing and mount it first. Then assemble the towel bar and the other side piece before removing the adhesive backing on that piece. Make sure it's level and make marks on the wall accordingly, Then remove the backing and carefully stick it to the wall while holding it and the towel bar in position. Cause there is no going back or repositioning anything once you've stuck it to the wall! I believe these items would work perfectly on ceramic tile, but I'm sure if you put it on drywall it would rip off the face of the drywall if you ever tried to remove it. The adhesive mounting is semi-permanent, not like 3M Command strips.

The first Hooks I used to secure my doggie gate on each side of the wall. Works great, then I ordered more for the curtain rods. Instead of screwing on the the curtain rods I use the hooks and hang the rods in ( I used small metallic rods). When I put the hooks on the wall I put a little glue on it too. So far I had only one hook fell off and I have around 20 all over my house for different uses. Not only they holding up, they are looking good too. Really glad I found them here by Amazon.
