I bought this blanket to see if it would work on our screen porch. If it were the right size, material, etc. I love blankets and this one is SO soft on the fleece side, but I feel like the other side keeps cool weather and wind off. This is a big blanket, but I LOVE wrapping myself up in a blanket so even though this is XL, I'm not sharing. So i just ordered more today! For storage, the blanket wraps down real small and fits into a bag, but i'm going to fold them up and put in our "storage table" when not in use (thank goodness, since i can never re-pack items correctly. LOL) I definitely recommend!

I LOVE this blanket! We've had to camp nearly every weekend to be near family during a rough time and this thing has been so awesome. I haven't tested getting it wet, because I don't want anything soggy in the tent. But it is very warm and keeps heat well. It's good as a lap blanket for sitting around the fire or waiting for coffee in the morning, and it can be used as a pillow roll when rolled up in its nylon bag.
It's not quite big enough to be used as a bed blanket and I'm 5'6.
