Exactly as advertised. Nice glitter that doesn't make too much mess. Nice flickering effect. Just the right size for a tea light holder when you want to see more candle than "flame." You do have to pull out the plastic tab on each one before using, so give yourself some time for set up. I ordered 24 candles and all but 1 turned on immediately. I played around with the position of the battery and eventually it turned on. They looked great in little lanterns at my winter themed party.

All I really have to say is wow these are by far the worst thing I've ever bought on Amazon ever. 6 of them didn't work and three of them were broken at the top where the light is.
