This thing is super cool. I'm not sure why all these people are giving bad reviews on these type of levitation globes. I got it to work in less than a minute. Yeah it does not levitate perfectly forever and will spin and wobble and sometimes stick to the top. But it is totally worth what I paid around $20. Base has Cool design and colors and globe is nice quality,

A couple of notes:
1) You have to plug it in to get it to float. If it's not plugged in, it will get stuck at the top.
2) To get it to spin, you basically need to start by getting it to float (I use the spacer they provide) and then blow on it with a straw or rolled up paper.
I find that it's very hard to get it to float so that the sphere is properly aligned (that is, that the middle seam doesn't wobble when it rotates). And I find it doesn't stay rotating very long (compared to other models I've seen).
But it's cute. And it mostly works.
