I have been trying out several teas from this brand and the Passion Fruit is one of my favorites. I like green tea and the addition of the passion fruit makes a very pleasing combo. I mix two packets of the powder in about 1/4 cup of very warm water in a bottle with lid. Then I shake it up until it looks like all the powder is dissolved and I then add almost 16 oz cold water plus 2 ice cubes. I drink a lot of tea and this is a nice addition to my favorites.

I was a little suspect at first when hearing about the idea of "instant" tea and a powder packet, as I have rarely found any type of instant brewed drink that can equal what it replaces. However, I read an article on FastCompany about Pique and their process of extracting and concentrating the very essence of what gives tea its flavor. The company founder, Simon Chang, studied Chinese history at Harvard and spent years traveling in China, where tea is taken more seriously than it generally is in the US. I spent some time in China as well, which is where I developed an appreciation for great brewed tea.

Pique tea, rather than being just crushed tea leaves, is actual crystals created through a proprietary process of pressurized cold-brewing that preserves the tea's antioxidants and nutrients. The end product can be poured into hot water and instantly consumed, which also eliminates the difficulty of finding the perfect steep time with tea leaves.

And most importantly, the flavor is outstanding. I have brewed Jasmine tea leaves for years now, and Pique has matched, if not exceeded, the flavor from the traditionally-brewed tea leaves. Interestingly enough, Pique won 3 gold medals at the Global Tea Championship (something I didn't even know existed before reading about them).

I am also a big fan of startups and entrepreneurs taking on the establishment, and Pique is truly an inspirational story for someone trying to do just that.

The Pique - Cold Brew Instant Tea Earl Grey is the most delicious cup of tea. With the tea crystals there's no guessing how long the bag should steep while your water gets cold. Just pour the satchet into your cup, stir and you're done.

Great for hot tea. Good flavor and easy to use. Easier to take with me than tea bags and much faster. I will be buying these again. My only disappointment is that it cannot be used cold. It will only dissolve in hot water and if you put it in tepid or cold water, it is all clumps. I am still searching for black tea singles that I can throw in a water bottle when I am on the run. You can't always find bottled unsweetened tea, but you can always find a water bottle. Everyone makes one either full of sugar, artificial sweetener, or green tea/matcha only. I don't want "diet". I don't want sugar. I just want good black tea in single serve packets without any sweetening.

This is amazing. I got the variety pack to try them all and was not disappointed.

I like to dilute 1 pack to 1 pitcher, and it have the perfect amount of freshness it makes drinking pleasurable. It is easier to mix with normal temperature water before adding ice / putting it into the fridge.
