I *so* got my money's worth out of this gown! I am 5'4" and at 38 weeks pregnant I was just under 200 pounds (170ish prepregnancy) yet after reading reviews I decided to go with the small/medium and it fit perfectly! I wore it for several weeks before birth because I had excess fluid levels and all my maternity clothes felt too tight and gave me contractions, so I pretty much lived in this because it was so comfortable. My big girls told me everyday how pretty my "dress" was. :) But the real test is labor, right? I wore this til the very end. Monitoring was no problem thanks to the wrap style and I easily unsnapped the straps to try pumping when my labor stalled. I ultimately took it off at the very end (I can't remember if it was before or after Baby was out) because I did get fluid on it, but I made hubby wash it and bring it right back to the hospital. It was great for postpartum checks when they squish your uterus or check your bleeding and had great stretch for nursing without having to unsnap (unless I wanted to). I still wear it as a nursing night gown at home (2 weeks postpartum) and love it. Wish I had this for all my births!
... big when i ordered it but it wasnt too bad. For size reference

I ordered the s/m and was expecting it to be a bit big when i ordered it but it wasnt too bad. For size reference, Im 5'6 and at 38 weeks i weigh about 165lbs. Its very comfortable and a lot prettier than a hospital gown. I like that you can undo the straps for nursing, it opens in the front so your belly's easily accesable for nurses, and the back also buttons down for easy epidural access. Very happy i got this and cant wait to use it
Not as described

The gown I received had no tie, snaps or any type of access for L&D. The product was described as a gown with a cute adjustable front tie, side access, back access and snaps on the top for skin to skin. The gown I got today had none of these features. Very dissapointed!
Poor quality

I washed this in delicate and hung it to dry before using for labor and delivery. As soon as I went into labor at the hospital, I went to put this on and the button fell off. It is a shame because I love the fit and versatility but it is just cheap and really bad quality. Buttons should not be coming off at first use!
Fit really matters

My main concern after reading all of the reviews was finding the right fit. I am 5' 10" around 210 lb at 38 weeks and I ordered the L/XL. I don't like things to fit tight on my tummy and this for me fits perfectly. Not too tight but not too loose. The elastic goes all the way around the armhole and is a tad too tight but not bad. The material is 100% cotton and feels very nice and comfortable. After experiencing two labors and deliveries with a typical hospital gown I think this gown will provide much better comfort coverage during labor and delivery!
