Loud, just like any hand dryer - fine for a public bathroom in an already-noisy area.
We bought three of these for our restaurant. One went into the men's bathroom, one in the women's bathroom and one for the office bathroom.
Overall, the product works very well and does what it says it will. I knew going in that these would be loud and they're just as loud as any other hand dryer on the market, so no stars can be taken off there. Alpine is an unknown brand but feels as well-built and work as well like any comparable $600 Excel dryer, and at $275 each, we'll be buying more of them. If you're converting from paper towels to hand dryers, make sure you get enough so people aren't waiting to use it. If you already have hand dryers and are getting more, have no fear in buying these units. They're a great addition to any business.
