As others probably mentioned, this line can suffer from being tangled on its spool. If you have the patience to untangle the line, I've found it to be on par or slightly better than the introductory lines from many of the "big names," at a fraction of the cost.

Affordable fly line for the guy that is trying to get out and wet the line. Purchased the 8wt fly line as a replacement for my old line. It got stuck on a tree trunk while floating down a river.
This casts the fly out and is durable enough to reel in the pig pictured above.
Update: June 2023. Not impressed with the casting ability. Might have to get a better line. It feels like a 5-6 wt line. Still catching fish though. ðŸ'‚

This is perfect if you are starting out as it is cheap and works. I will say once you have some experience or try some better line you will see a big improvement spending more money on good line.
