Every single cap is pretty much welded on

IMPOSSIBLE to remove cap. I bought two sets of these for a total of four. Every single cap is pretty much welded on. I could not remove them, nor could my husband, nor could the neighborhood strongman. Husband said I should pry them off with a screwdriver, but that would damage them. I'm returning them. Waste of time and money.

I love these and will be getting more. I use them for products bought in bulk, salt nutritional yeast etc. I will also be putting rubs in them.

These caps are very useful. I had the lid on a jar of ground pepper fail. I had to hold down the large opening to use the shaker side - just what you want to do while you are cooking. The holes in these caps are just right for shaking salt and pepper into a pot cooking on the stove, and by using them on Ball/Kerr 12-ounce jelly jars, they fit nicely into the spice cabinet. I also see many additional uses suggested by other customers.
I drilled every-other hole out to 1/8" and they work great now. I'll be ordering more of them soon

Just what I needed. I did have to modify them a bit to handle my own recipe rub mixes. The holes were too small to allow some of the spices out. I drilled every-other hole out to 1/8" and they work great now. I'll be ordering more of them soon.
