Why did I not discover these sooner?? Baby is now 18 months (guess not so baby anymore), and we've endured that long of poopie smell! We had even placed the diapers in a poop bag (for dogs) first, then into the diaper genie and that didnt even help. Insert one of these bad boys and the smell is gone! No joke. I was totally skeptical. I almost literally stuck my nose in the diaper genie and could not smell anything. These things are magic. Buy with no reservations! So far so good. Will update about longevity as needed.
Help with diaper pail odors

Purchased these to help with the smell in my daughter's Dejor plus diaper pail. They do help a lot but there isn't really a good way to secure them to the inside of the pail. We tried taping them to the back side of the flap but the tape failed and the pouch fell into the bag after a few days and the smell was back (presumably because we changed the bag so the pouch was gone). We just need to find a way to secure the pouches and we will be golden.

I have used these for a week so far, and they are great. I put one in the bottom of the small trash can I use for my son's diapers. I can tell a big difference! His dirty diapers used to stink up the room. Now the odor is neutralized in minutes! I placed one near our bathroom toilet and in the kitchen trashcan, as well. I saw on the instructions that you can "recharge them" after two weeks by placing them in direct sunlight for 2-3 hours and possibly get another couple weeks or so out of them. I will try that when the time comes. I am very pleased to have tried these and recommend them to anyone.
Update: I don't think the sunlight recharge worked that well, but they work so well the first time around that I don't mind re-ordering ever so often.

These are nice for the Ubbi diaper pail- I taped it to the underside of the opening lid. (It still slides open just fine.) Other products I've tried had to sit in the bottom of the pail, underneath the bag. No help whatsoever. Once you slide open the lid, the stink was still there. So far, this seems to be working quite well at absorbing the stench of baby poop. Granted, it's only been a week, but there's at least a dozen loads in there, and I don't gag when I open the lid. Word up.
I wish I had found this years ago!

They would have been great when I had two cats. Now I'm using them to help with diaper pail odor. It had gotten out of control and I work from home so it was untenable. Have been using them for a month now and they are great. No more awful stink.
I have a Dekor Plus diaper pail and I taped one under the lid and put one on the bottom. Haven't yet had to change them. Very happy with these results.
