These pedals look fantastic and provide plenty of grip. You can also tell the build quality is very good. Word of caution, you need 1/2" pedals for 1 piece BMX bike cranks. I was able to get these pedals to work by installing them with some 9/16" to 1/2" pedal extenders.

Well made and very appealing with a strong anodized paint-job, I don't see how it will scuff easily! It has a nice light weight to it but still a solid feel to the touch. It even spins very smooth and quite when in motion! With having the wider foot surface, you'll securely plants your grip for confident riding. I've seen similar types in a more popular brand for 3 times the price with a difference of only in style; for the beholder preference I guess.

I've found that the cleat studs were indeed on pretty tight. However, after reading other reviews about them coming loose, I decided to apply high strength thread-locking compound (the strongest, red). Boy, I hope I may never have to get-em off at anytime... hopefully never! But, I'm not going to chance them from backing off anyhow, anyway.

For the price range, I see no other ones coming close to it! Now after all, the OEM peddles replacements are almost the same price as these were.

This is my first pair of flat pedals. These are an affordably priced, high quality component. I installed them upon arrival and rode with them the next day. Although I normally ride clipless, these were comfortable and I felt attached to the bike. They look great too - the blue really pops on my bike. Based on the reports of losing the studs, I decided to remove each stud, apply a drop of blue thread locker, and reinstall. The three spare studs is a nice touch and I love the simple cardboard box packaging. I am very impressed so far.
I've got a few miles on these now and can confirm that these are pretty damn nice, so nice that I decided to buy another set for my hybrid and pack the clipless pedals away.

I own a new 2017 XXL Specialized Camber FSR 29er mountain bike. The basic pedal that come with the bike are the standard hardened plastic black pedals with a few little ridges for added traction. I replaced those pedals with the Bonmixc pedals because they are a little bigger (I have a size 14 shoe), and because the grip is significantly better! With the original pedals it was easy to slide your feet across the pedals into a better position while riding. On the Bonmixc pedals you have to physically raise your foot slightly to reposition your feet. The traction screws are metal alloy and stick up an eight of an inch. It does take time to become proficient doing this while riding uphill. In general you need to get in position before the hill gets too steep or it will be very difficult to shift your feet around. Its almost like having clip-on pedals. The pedals also look great and have a fancy gold colored screw on the outside-center of the pedal that provides a nice accent color. For the price these pedals are great. Paying an extra $100 to save one-third of an ounce is foolish. The slight weight saving will not make you ride faster, it just means you have less money in your pocket...

These are very nice pedals, and in particular if you factor in the price. They are good size so you can get on them on fast, and after about 20 rides seem very durable while still being lightweight. The customer services is also fantastic. Be sure to tighten up all the anti-slip nails before your first ride if you ride on single track trails with rock gardens to avoid having any nails get knocked out. The grips on the pedals is excellent with the nails in place.
