It's a bike bell that is loud, clear and easy to install. What else is there is to say.

RECOMMENDATION to seller. There are 3 factors to consider when installing this. Facing "in" vs facing "out", right side or left side, and location of lever relative to gear shifters and brakes. It would be helpful to others if you posted a picture of this item mounted on an actual handlebar so that they can get a sense if this will work with their preference. I would normally take a picture, but it's cold and dark in the garage and I'm just feeling lazy right now.

I am very happy with this bell. It dins loud and crisp once then once again when released. What is really cool and I don't know if it is by design but I can put my thumb on the bell then press the lever and the ding will be muted. Sometimes I just want people to be subtly alerted. Before the bell, just the clicking of my gear shift was enough to alert people walking. I guess the bell would work the best in a noisy environment. I really like it. It was easy to install, small and nice looking.

There is a reason this bell is higher rated than all the other small bells and it is under $8. ðŸ‘ðŸ‘ðŸ‘ðŸ‘ðŸ‘

There are two choices, the silver or the gold, I think the silver for myself looks better on my bike but the gold one that I have is a little louder for some reason...
The loud ding tone sound is well defined, crisp and clear. Let the flipper come back on its own and there are two distinctive loud dings.
Takes up minimal space on my handlebars or the neck there below. It probably won't work for someone in their car and if someone wearing a blaring, booming headset while on the trail.

There is a similar bell under a different name that comes from Singapore and takes two or three weeks to get though but it comes in black but it does not sound as loud for myself as the gold and silver ones here that I am reviewing, It looks like the same bell,I have both.

I have these on a 1995 Trek 750 hybrid bike and they just barely fit, I could see with taped road bike handlebars or fatter handle bars the bell may be to small.

On our bike trail there are sharp curves,underpasses, overpasses with sharp turns coming out of them so I try to let a family of small ones, new ryder or a walker enjoying the day know there is oncoming traffic and I do slow down. The first time along a road or in a developed area that I scared someone coming around them and their reaction was to jump in front of me I knew why years ago the bike shop told me I really should get a bell when I first started to ride. Now they turn around to see where I am at... I do not mean for them to move out of my way but to let them know that I am coming around them.

I remember using the miracle bell years ago and you just had that flipper and a single ting sound and people would be looking all around thinking they dropped something...

excellent! 2nd order. very satisfied. solid material and construction. superb bell sound. compared to similar item. when you ring the bell it doesn' make a cranking sound, it bells right away and really loud to get attention. even ringing it rapidly the bell sound comes out crisp and solid. very recommendable. installed it inverted to push instead of pull, but either way output ia just the same.

Actually we got a used bike and it had one of these on it. It was so much nicer and even louder than the junky ones we had bought the girls in the past. So we got 3 of these and they all work great. I got a gold one to match my bike and the girls got silver ones to match theirs a little bit. Anyways, its a simple motion and the ringer doesn't seem to get jammed and it produces a nice simple ring thats LOUD and effective for warning others ahead of you on the trail or on campus.
