This knife block is just what I needed!
The knife block arrived on time, and was securely packaged. It fits nicely into the drawer of my prep station. The in-drawer knife block holds my complete set of Calphalon knives with the exception of my scissors, meat fork and tomato/bagel knife included with the set. My drawers are 16" wide, so there's plenty of room for the extra tools without creating clutter. The knives fit nicely into the slots, and there's plenty of room for removing the one(s) I need.
I really like the way the knife block looks in my drawer, and that it allows me to create more room on my work space. It is a quality piece of workmanship . . . smooth finished surfaces and straight well fitting slots for easy insertion and removal of knives.

Love it. I hate on the counter knife storage. This item fits snugly in the drawer next to my utensil tray. I use the small slats for my every day small prep knives rather than my steak knives which don't get much use. It's fairly heavy and solid, so the quality seems high. I saw some of the other in drawer knife storage solutions in store, but they were literally already broken. Very happy that I turned to Amazon and went with Noble Home & Chef.

The concept of keeping the knives in a drawer is a good idea. knife block is heavy and stays in place. Where the edge of the thick piece connects to the knife holder is not a smooth, I plan to sand that area to make it a smooth to prevent splinters.
The knife block fits in the just right and stays in place. The knife block holds all my knives plus a set of steak knives I forgot I had. It's nice to open the drawer to see the knives neatly organized. Because the knives are kept in a drawer it saves counter space and the knives stay clean.

Moving into my newly remodeled kitchen, I was so excited to discover a way to store my knives without a block on the counter. Excellent quality, heavy and solid. My steak knives have a thick handle and it was not a problem as the well is deep and wide enough to accommodate them nicely. I got the large size and it fit perfectly in standard size 18" drawer, interior 13 1/2 " with 2" to spare ( knife block 11 1/4"). Very happy with my purchase.

Could not be happier with this addition to our kitchen... We always used to keep our knives above the counter in a block, but we now have three kids and wanted them off the counter (removing clutter was also a motive)... Further, we recently learned that professional burglars will actually look for kitchen knives in butcher blocks because it's considered "self defense" if they grab a knife from your kitchen as opposed to bringing one with them (which would then be considered "premeditated" in the event that there was an encounter)... Needless to say, clearing out a drawer for our knives was more than worth it... and having the blades protected and nicely organized is SO much better than reaching into a drawer with lots of exposed knife blades (which we did have for a week while this was on order - yikes).
