- •Shuttle is an advanced builder's kit, will require 20-30 hours to build, paint & detail. Almost 2 feet tall, 3.4 in. Diameter, can be launched up to 500 feet when using an *e12-4 engine.
- •Estes 7245 rocketry is recommended for ages 10 and up with adult supervision for those under 12. Unless otherwise specified, all models require assembly.
- •Tools, construction, finishing supplies sold separately. In order to launch, a launch system, 7245 rocket engines, starters and recovery wadding are required.
- •Attention: the Estes shuttle requires Estes E launch controller and porta-pad E and 3/16 in (5mm) maxi launch rod when launching E engines. Sold separately-unless otherwise specified.

This was awesome! A bit of a challenge to assemble, but well worth it. I bought this one and a super easy one for my nephew to build and launch with me. We launched his first and he almost caught it on its way back down. The Comanche-3 was an entirely different launch. It almost disappeared after the first two stages and it just kept going. It no surprise that I couldn't retrieve it all, but I expected that.

This is a great kit! It lends itself to all sorts of variations. I have built several rockets based upon the Comanche-3. Low altitude staging is a big hit at demonstrations. I have modified the model to perform Stine staging and added things like through the wall fin install on the second and third stages. I recommend epoxy for assembly. Dual deployment with an enlarged third stage makes sure you will get your rocket back. I also have made BT60 and BT80 versions as well as the standard BT50.

This has got to be estes best 3 stage rocket out there, I pushed this rocket with a D-12 first stage, a C67 second stage, and final stage a C-6 engine I was impressed by the force of lift off I only witnessed the first stage booster break off and lost sight of the second, thanks to my neighbors kids great eyes they said it soared through the clouds with a lightning speed it never returned
