I have used Bitter Melon juice for a long time and when I saw this thought I would try it. I have even eaten the bitter melon raw and whether juice or the melon always had good luck with it taking down my sugar. I have not had the Bulksupplements Pure Bitter Melon Extract for long but it has taken my sugar down. I usually just put the 1/4 tsp. on my tongue then drink some water to wash it down and have had no problem doing that. I plan on trying to just sprinkle it on my food also. Tried to mix it in water but did not get it mixed well so that is why I started just putting it on my tongue. The taste of a bitter melon or the juice is very strong but the Bulksupplements is not real bitter or strong. Also I was paying over $20. for the juice and it does not last that long so price wise this is much better. I have bought bitter melon and made my own juice which is a pain because it all foams up and you have to wait for the foam to turn liquid and again the taste is very strong. I will definitely buy this again because it is cheaper, easier to use and IT WORKS.

I made a glycerite extract of this and it works! It keeps my fasting levels perfect . I take a dropper after having sugary foods

This works for my wife we're well. Make sure to activate the seal ... forcing the ziploc into action . ..when you get the package even if you don't open it..it works much better .. it is easier to seal going forward .
Remember.. there is no actual prescribed "dosage" for supplements, just directions on the package . Everyone is different. If the instructed amount on package isn't doing it, factor in body weight for yourself. You may need more or more often. Then when it works and if you happen to drop weight you can always reduce it. Take it slow and see. Body weight is important in all dosages for herbs and supplements, but rarely taken into account. when researching online info is mostly cut and pasted.

I had never heard of Bulksupplements and stumbled upon it on Amazon.com. I purchased the Pure Bitter Melon Extract in efforts to help with polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), to help balance hormones, and to combat insulin resistance. To my surprise it also has anti-inflammatory benefits which is great since I recently had meniscus surgery on my knee. I received the packaging promptly. It smells like a nice tea, in fact that is how I have been using it as a morning and evening tea. My first three days using it, I noticed that it helped with my cartilage pain from my meniscus surgery. I was very pleased because I was in a lot of pain and didn't want to take the prescribed narcotic. I also noticed it appear to reduce my appetite but also starting giving me detox symptoms. After a few days, I do notice that it must be bringing my blood sugar levels down (I am not diabetic and don't check my blood sugars) because I was getting a slight headache that mimics a lowered blood sugar headache. I plan to use this but I am going to half the amount from 1 tsp to 1/2 tsp daily.

This is a stand alone blood sugar decreaser. It is bitter by taste and hard to swallow unless you pinch your nose and gulp as quickly as possible. Taste aside, it lowers my blood sugar, so the cup is bitter but the results are right on the mark. Best brand so far.
