It is so difficult to find ladies hanky's in an actual store these days. So, when I saw these on Amazon, I was more than happy to order them. They are beautiful, with a cute, colored floral embroidered design, and what looks like a lace type pattern one corner edge of each hanky. They are a perfect gift for the ladies in your life (would be nice for bridal party, moms, birthday gifts, etc). I highly recommend.
Pretty and absorbent but a little scratchy

I bought these as part of my mission this year to put less paper and plastic into the trash. Unlike many of the more dainty reviewers here, I actually use these for blowing my nose all day, mostly due to chronic hay fever. They are absorbent and dry amazingly quickly - who knew how much mucus was made of water?! (Yuck I know). At the end of the day, toss each one into the laundry and they still look fine, having saved at least 3 - 5 paper facial tissues. In spite of washing and drying with some uncented fabric softener, they are rougher than I would like. During a bad cold, I would probably switch back to my Vick's scented Pufs to avoid a sore nose.

Ordered these as a modest table-favor for a recent afternoon tea, and everyone LOVED them. I found the hanky fabric soft and tightly woven, but they ARE lightweight and a bit sheer, if that matters to you. The embroidery is beautifully rendered for machine-work... a charming floral motif. All in all, a marvelous choice for "a nice little somethin'" at a VERY little price!

I bought a boxed set because I am giving as gifts when I take a trip later this month. I have not taken them out of the box, but it appears the size is right and they are cotton, can be washed, iron, etc. used over and over again instead of tissues. I'm giving them as gifts because I have started using ladies handkerchiefs (another style-not gift-boxed) and enjoying using a nice hankie.

These are very dainty and pretty! I really love them! I work in a freezer, so my nose drips alot. Carrying a box of tissues just wasn't practical, so I bought these to keep in my pocket. They work well and are very pretty!
