These are great for keeping in touch with the kids when they are playing in the neighborhood or at a friends house close by. The only complaint I have is I ordered the first set and one of them would not hold a charge ordered a second set and replaced them and the second set is the same one wont hold a charge. It comes with a Y splitter for one of the chargers and I think if you plug one in to the splitter it does not charge. But this I am not sure of without marking the one I plug into the splitter. Either way they should send three chargers than not just two.
This product doesn't not live up to its advertising (PRINTED SPECIFICATION) or name,.

The advertised distance is 20 milers. We realistically got about 100 yards.in open areas. Even less in urban areas. We needed to use these in a football athletic complex. between home and visitor concession stands. it hardly worked at all...couldn't hear anyone trying to use them. And to make matters worse, the 10 hour batter time was grossly over exaggerated, we got about 2 hours of use out of them. over all VEQRY disappointing to be a Motorola product.

POOR battery life also, last about 1-3 hours. Also battery gauge is sporadic, at one moment it's full, the other moment it's beeping because it has a low battery level. This is NOT the Motorola walkie talkies were use to before the Motorola split.
I also have a pair of T600 h2o's and battery life on those are great, except they are not waterproof as the company claims, unless your consider hanging them out to dry before using them again as waterproof.

I have charged the batteries as directions specified for over 12 hrs. They hold their charge for a max o 3 hours each !
Unacceptable as you can imagine, we have a 10 acre dog kennel and need to communicate asap. I recharged the talkies again over nite and same thing.. 3 hrs max for each before the flickering battery comes on with 1 bar. Very disappointed .

Received these radios and they were charged all night. The batteries last about 2-3 hours with no talking, less than 1 hour from charging if talk on it. One of the radios the area that the button that you key the mike it has come apart. The talk distance is less than 1/4 mile on very flat ground. We were really excited to get these as have had trouble with other radios, but these are the worst yet. Would not buy these!!!!
