Excelent product, if you don't need to work under water (surf, swimpool, orthers) i recomend you use the 400 series!!!! I have one T465 and T460; it is enough, and more chip!!!! That model are waterproof too (for rain it is enough)

Very disappointed for Motorola. I trusted the name on job sites for more than four decades. One of the radios I received is of poor quality. The strobe light comes on on its own. It also discharges rapidly. Could not been more dissatisfied.

The radios are good. Range is as good as you should expect from GMRS, which means forget about 35 miles but more like a mile to maybe a few in average wooded, hilly terrain. The supplied chargers take a very long time to charge the batteries. If you need a quick charge, use your own higher-current charger or just put in alkaline AA batteries. You will probably get better performance from alkaline batteries, but the rechargeables are OK for grab-and-go use when you don't require maximum performance and standby time. The case is nice to have.
