Excellent pitcher plant - has doubled in size in 8 months!
BBFebruary 21, 2018
I bought my pitcher plant about 8 months ago and it is doing really well! It has doubled in size and currently has about 15 healthy pitchers hanging from it. I live in South Florida and have it hanging outside in indirect sunlight and it seems to really like it there. The frogs love my pitcher plant too: when I go to water it I'll frequently find 4-5 big frogs snuggled up inside the pot. Love this plant! :)
WOULD STRONGLY RECOMMEND PURCHASE, BUT WITH CAUTION (Opinion 3 months after purchase)

Many of the excellent reviews here are people who just got their plant and are excited about how it looks - I'd imagine most die off in a month's time without proper care. Mine did come very healthy with about 12 pitchers, but be aware that the pitchers did undergo stress during shipment and refilling the pitchers with water will not prevent most (if not all) of the pitchers that it came with from dying over the course of a couple weeks. However, continue to water the soil with distilled/rain water (NO tap water and keep the soil moist but not in standing water), constant indirect sunlight throughout the day with 1-2 hours of direct sunlight, humidity levels of 50%+, and finally temps of 65 - 80 degrees F and it will soon replace the old pitchers with plenty of new, larger pitchers. As long as the leaves are healthy and new pitchers are coming in, it just takes time to adapt to its new environment. Keep it in one location under the right conditions - do NOT move it around so it doesn't have to readjust all over again. I'd give it several months before attempting to move it to a bigger pot, as that is stressful and requires some research beforehand (it is tricky to get it right). For research purposes - this species is Nepenthes ventrata. I only took off one star bc the sellers are clueless on care info and don't even know what species it is themselves. Overall an easy plant to grow, given that you have some patience and give it the proper conditions mentioned earlier.
P.S. Misting is a total waste of time and energy (and actually slows down the initial adjustment phase) - invest in a humidifier if you are growing it in an indoor location with rather dry conditions. Good luck! (Picture is few months after purchase, about 6 full-grown pitchers and 7 more coming in)
Freaking perfect

So I got home today after long crap day and I wasn't expecting any packages but this had shown up and omg did it completely alter my mood. Plant arrived in perfect condition. Packaged really well no damage at all. Plant looks beautiful dirt was damp. I breed snakes so the fruit flies seem to get into the house when family leaves screens open. My hopes is this plant will help atleast a little bit. I will order again after I see a reduction of fruit flies. Awesome plant!
Amazing quality

Beautiful. Came in healthy and green. The leaves, peristomes, lids and pitchers were near pristine. Y'all do a great job! Keep it up!
Pleasantly Surprised!

I have never purchased a plant through the mail but living in Indiana, there is not much choice when looking for a tropical plant. I went off reviews & decided to give it a try - it worked!

The plant is exactly as described & of a good size with many pitchers on it. For coming across the country, there was no damage & very little soil spillage. It even arrived a day sooner than projected.

I've only had it less than a week but so far it is holding strong & showing no stress. Still waiting for it to catch these gnats though....
