They are heavy so I need to hold them up otherwise I will get a permanent dent in my skin I can view the guide on TV now. I love this opera glasses. The lens could be a little bigger for larger TV's. .

Bought them so I could read the headers on the t.v without having to get up from my recliner which upsets my dog She likes to watch t.v. with her dad resting on my lap,very upsetting when I get up and down to go over to T.V. to read headers,LOL She's happy Now

I have low vision and used these at the opera to see the singers and read the surtitles, and they worked great.

I think these are well worth the $28. I have a fairly large head and they fit fine. However, my wife can't keep them on her face as they fall off. Same problem as one other comment. The frame is anodized aluminum. The ocular body is plastic with glass lenses. Perhaps polycarbonate lenses would help reduce the weight a bit. The oculars are laterally adjustable to center the optics up to your eye spacing. Of course each ocular is focusable for your eyes. My vision is about +3 diopters and the adjustment range of these lenses will accommodate that with room to spare. This is important as my binoculars are maxed to the stops for my vision with no more adjustment possible. If my vision get to say +4 diopters those field glasses will be useless to me.

My only reason to give four stars is that in the field of view the focus blurs away from the center of the field of view. Probably like 1/2 of the field gradually goes out of focus to being quite blurred at the edges. But what can you expect for the money? Center field works fine. All in all a good product for the $28.
