A good and versatile organizer with minimal drawbacks

This desktop organizer has some nice features that other organizers are missing. You can install charging cables for a phone and a tablet (you must supply your own cables), the organizer comes with various inserts for different cable ends. The extra USB ports make for a nice way to load a USB stick on your computer. You can also plug in a charging cable for your phone if you don't want to use the dedicated slot. The pocket for the pens and such is not real big and I ended up using a mug for my extra pens. The pen cup is also a little short for scissors causing them to lean over a bit. The square slot hold 3x3 inch Post-Its but it is a little larger than it needs to be. The slot I use for paper clips is a little shallow so it does not hold a large amount of clips. The base comes wth sticky feet that prevent slipping. If you don't want to keep the organizer fixed in one place it is a bit of a pain as you really have to yank it off the desk (a pain if you want to clean under it from time to time).

In the end, I am still happy with this organizer over my old one. The USB port is particularly nice to have and the compact size still lets me have room for phone and tablet charging.
6 inch cords and a little finesse creates less clutter

I just set this up on my desk. I have noticed that the more compartments and storage holders I have, the more it helps me to keep the clutter to a minimum. I also have a desktop computer, so I was able to plug the main USB cord into my desktop computer and now I have a tray with three additional USB ports. I have an iPhone and a Kindle that I use a lot, so this would be perfect.

I also have a running watch with a USB charger that I am using the other port for. I put pens, Chapstick, earbuds, and a nail clipper in the other compartments. These are things I have on my desk anyway, so now everything is organized. This is an update on my original review. I thought that the design was flawed because of the USB ports being in front and no easy way to run the cords from the slots under the tray to the USB ports.

With further experimentation, I realized that there is a little tunnel for the cords next to the slots. They run under the tray to the back or side then the cord has to be run along the outside of the try to the front USB ports. If I had some 6 inch charging cables this solution would actually work fairly well. I still think there could be a more elegant way for the cords to run to the ports, but short cords would work.

I currently have my longer charging cords zip tied which is an OK temporary solution. Still my desk is less cluttered and my phone and Kindle are being charged at my desk instead of in my kitchen. Once I used the plastic clips for the cord, I did have to take the phone case off because it was too thick to reach the low charger.
Not a good product for me....I'd have to be more inventive to make it right for my desk

I was really looking forward to this All-In-One Desk Organizer & Docking station to arrive for I am always running around the house looking for a good place to charge my necessary items, i.e. the phones, the tablet and my Kindles. This doesn't work very well for my desk. Someone didn't bother to give us a wall plug with this thing.... you have to plug it into your computer. I have more than enough 'stuff' plugged in and around that computer now, I don't WANT one more cord/wire to worry with.

The price is some less than comparable items, the black color is OK but I knew the color when ordering this so that is not a negative. It was a good thought to have a place for little 'needed' items but I already have a place for those things. The whole thing ended up looking like my desk was getting ready to blow up with all the wires every where so I called my genius daughter to come look at my configurations. She said the biggest negative was having to put the cable under the device to get to the right hole. Then, naturally, it doesn't sit level. WHO WANTS THAT? Of course, I didn't say she was Einstein so I'll ask my son when he comes over.

So, this docking station is not going back, I am going to put it the spare bedroom and let my next guest worry about it. I know I must be doing something wrong cause people who do this for a living designed it.
