Hawk makes excellent what I would call MID grade tree stands. The cost to value of this stand is through the roof. I say this as a person whos been running public land for 20 years. I can only hope they improve this design by adding a versabutton. If they do ill buy even more. I bought 4 already in addition to my high end stands.

Love this stand. Easy to hang. Super sturdy. Perfect size platform. Not too heavy. If you are between the Hawk hang ons that are similar this one has the best balance of platform size and weight. Not too big to haul in and not to small where you can barley move. Seat is super comfortable for long sits as well

Not too expensive. Easy enough to set up. Adequate size. Next year I do plan to use ratchet straps for extra stability, but it's not necessary when standard safety precautions are followed.
