love the taste
Serenity•February 22, 2018
I brought tea back from Uji, Japan and was looking for authentic Uji tea products. love the taste. it's tasty cold and hot. aroma and flavor last long. once you drink this tea, you will start to notice the difference between authentic and good japanese tea and other tea products sold at your local grocery or drug stores.

I would drink only this if it wasn't so expensive and I didn't drink green tea like water.
It tastes like shoving your face into a huge pile of fresh green tea leaves. Flavor is INCREDIBLE.

the best green tea I have ever had
Donna Everett•April 25, 2017
This is by far, the best green tea I have ever had. And I have tried many. There is no *powder* in the leaves. It is top quality organic tea. Taste is mild and smoothe, but gives a little kick to get your day started. :) I only used one teaspoon of leaves, for a large cup of brewed tea in my coffeee maker with a filter. ENJOY... you will not be dissappointed. Well worth the little extra money! I would give 10 stars if I could, for the great customer service as well.

I consider myself a sophisticated tea drinker (I have more than 20 types of tea at any time acquired mostly from India, China, and Japan). I've also visited Japan many times and sampled some of its best tea. This is the best $14 I've spent on Japanese tea period.
Decent everyday tea

This may not be the most subtle and complex-tasting tea out there, but it is definitely one of the easiest teas to brew and drink. Some teas are so sophisticated that they taste like laundry water if you don't steep right, but at least this one will give you something drinkable unless you really mess it up. The leaves are vibrantly green after brewing (which I believe is considered more important in Japanese green tea), and has a light, fresh aftertaste. It doesn't have the sort of fishy(?) taste or smell, which I really appreciate. I was able to steep it several times, and they turned out fine.A lot of dust, though. I drink this tea to get myself caffeinated (I personally cannot drink coffee) especially when I don't have the time to methodically measure the amount of tea leaves and temperature of water. Overall, I think it's reasonably priced and gives great results.
