I have really hard water, I've noticed a difference. I use it on my kitchen faucet, fill my humidifiers and I can tell there's less mineral scale.
Save your money, do not bother as it doubled our hard water deposits

A friend told us they had great success with a large magnetic product on the house main. Thinking that is an expensive roll of the dice, I purchased these less expensive/smaller magnets to try on one water line. Sadly, I am not sure why, but we have twice the hard water deposits as we had without this device.

I installed this three months ago, the taste of my water improved, unknown if this did it or something the city did, but I still have water spots and some white buildup is not going away. The science of it seems like it should work, but at this point in time it is unknown if it does what it claims to do. I have even put two of these on my water inlet line to see if it helps. I'll post more if I see an improvement.
No visible difference.
