Work perfectly. My son broke his leg and the towel wrap on the crutches wasn't providing him much comfort. These appear to be too small for standard crutches and you do have to work to get them over the existing padding but once on, they fit snugly to ensure they don't move around when the crutches are in use. Great product.

When they say it is Universal, they mean Universal. These made my crutches a bit more easier to tolerate and the soft fabric lessens chaffing compared to the standard stock rubber pads. Overall, get this item. You won't be dissapointed!

If using crutches correctly, underarm padding isn't usually needed. The crutch length and hand rest should be positioned so that the underarms don't rest on the top of the crutches; there should be an inch or two to spare. (Regardless of any padding, resting the underarms on the crutches will eventually become painful, or at least that's been my experience.)
The reason I bought these was to replace the rubber pads my crutches came with, but not for the purpose of padding. The rubber crutch pads were tacky (like friction, not fashion) and caught on my clothing constantly. This was very unsafe, and caused a number of near-falls. I replaced the rubber pads with these fabric ones, and have had zero issues since.
