I love the product, HOWEVER, they said you could wash these so I washed them on the delicate cycle and air dryed them and the Underarm Pads are ruined. I had to throw them away because there was no way I could get them back in the same shape that they were.

The armpit pieces are pretty good. The hand pieces aren't. They don't reach around the existing crutch handle which is standard. If I cut away the existing handpiece of the crutch and just use this, it won't have nearly enough padding. If you are looking for just armpit pieces this is decent.

Returned. I had total knee replacement surgery and went straight frtom bed t pn a walker. Now using a cane. Would be useful for someone using crutches for long period tho.

These are not fleece, they are sort of a polartec type material. The top covers just baaaaarely fit over the top of the crutch. The hand grip covers didn't really fit---I stretched them as hard as I could, and I could velcro them, but they really didn't work well for my son. This was using the thicker foam inserts. Quite possibly they would have fit better with the thinner inserts, but then there wasn't much padding.

These were also supposed to ship in one day, arriving on Thursday. Unfortunately, we did not get them until the very end of the day on Friday.

In retrospect, I would have gone for a different set of pads.

These were a great addition to my crutches. I was on them for six weeks. The pads held up well and washed well too.
