We recently ordered an recieved the palm trees to add a little extra something to our pool area we just completed. They are perfect, a little cheaper made than we expected but for the price and conveience, well worth the money. They come in 2 sections, the bottom of the trunk and the top of the trunk has palms attached with lights. The strand of lightsfor the bottom you do have to wrap yourself after assembling which takes a whole 2 minutes for both jobs. The trunks are wrapped with what looks like brown electrical tape and is very squishy feeling but works well out doors, which is where ours stay. I only mared it a 4 out of 5 stars only because we have had then for less than a week and hAvent really had a chance to use them to see how the lights hold up. I will also add, we had bad storms come thru yesterday (40 mph wind gusts) and the trees withstood the winds. I anxiously sat at work praying that everything we had outside would stay put, obviously including the trees, and when we got home they were still standing there like nothing had happened. They have sturdy metal bases you screw to the bottom and then stake them down. I was truly impressed. The only thing we had to do was "refluff' the palms.
Nice looking product ... but only worked for a month.

I purchased two of these. One last December. One in January. The one I purchased in January has stopped working without explanation. It has been inside, in one location ... safe and dry. This makes me hesitant to purchase more, which I had intended to do for the Summer. That's unfortunate because these trees really look great. And .. I see that there was only a one month window after purchase to even attempt an exchange. UPDATE. LIGHTSHARE CONTACTED ME IMMEDIATELY AFTER THEY LEARNED OF THIS PROBLEM, AND EVEN THOUGH I WAS WELL PAST THE RETURN WINDOW, THEY OFFERED A REMEDY THAT WAS GENEROUS, AND MUCH APPRECIATED. A REPLACEMENT TREE IS ON THE WAY. AND WE ARE DELIGHTED! HAVING THESE TREES HAS PROVIDED A BRIGHT AND CHEERY ATMOSPHERE DURING OUR DRAB,DREARY NORTHERN INDIANA WINTER. THANK YOU LIGHTSHARE!!

WHAT would I do in the corner of our fire pit area?? I was so disappointed when our bug guy made me move a live palm away from the house. It had perfectly disguised a drainpipe, and provided a nice touch of green. This was Wednesday. We were having people over Saturday. The plan was dinner on the lanai, with after-dinner drinks by the fire pit. Hostess panic!! I needed something, anything, to fill that ugly, now-bare spot. So ... I did a search on Amazon with just two words: "tall" "outdoor" "“ this tree popped up! Reviews were good. I ordered the 7-footer. The tree arrived Friday afternoon, my husband put it together in about 15 minutes, on Saturday morning I ran to a big-box store to find a pot that matched my now-moved live palm, and VOILÃ. Perfection!!! That night, as my guests conversed happily around the fire, I just kept smiling to myself at my happy tree, lights twinkling in the night. It just adds charm. It's not trying to be anything serious "“ it has real personality as a fun, unpretentious, "tropical" objet. Absolutely adorable.

Most realistic palm tree i have had and with the lights was the best of three in my yard for holiday decorations. Base seemed most sturdy of the three and was. However winds blew the trunk over and it appeared the 3 spot welds were not the best way to secure the trunk. Contacted the company, sent pictures to them and they sent a replacement part of the bottom trunk. It is a 3 part trunk and comes in a mid size box good for storing if you wish. My tree now stands in basement man-cave as a nice prop to screen print tapestry of tropical isle and will go outside again next season. Customer response to broken base was quick, courteous and very prompt in getting the part to me. This is a high quality Palm Tree you won't find in local hardware store. Highly recommend if you are looking for something out of the ordinary.

Junk- first of all when you attach the trunk pieces apparently there's little screws in there that have to connect from the base to the bottom piece and then from the bottom piece to the top piece the connector got stuck inside of the separate pieces so there was no way to get it out there for the lights did not work trying to disassemble it after you screwed all the pieces together is like trying to wrestle an anaconda trust me you would be much better off and have much better quality if you buy a nine dollar copper fairy lights and get an unlighted tree- Just search still palm trees and they will look much more natural to
