I just recieved it today, i havent used it/tested it out yet but overall after unboxing it and installing my camera, camera light and phone on it it appears to be sturdy. Ill update this review when i use it to go exploring and ghost hunting..i am currently enjoying it. Does what it is needed to do.

awesome rig, provides enough stability for some low angle skating clips on my action cam. only downside is the phone mount would not fit the top clip that was provided and the metal piece ended up coming off of it. Bummed because i really wanted to be able to see while I was filming.

This rig is a pretty nice accessory for any photographer who is just getting started. For me, I have a camera that doesn't have a hotshoe. This will cover that issue. Sometimes I want to get footage of the board when skateboarding, and this allows me to do so without awkwardly holding the camera.
Sometimes, you want to get multiple angles from the same position, and sometimes you just want something more stable to hold for a better shot with less shake. If you hold this C grip on top, you should get less shake in your videos. You can hook up your GoPro, or your phone to see what you are shooting with your camera. The possibilities with something like this are pretty high in number. If you are getting started out or need a grip that can give you some room to play with accessories you might consider this.

Another fantaseal product that I am overjoyed with. I appreciate how well all of the accessories mate with my GoPro brand accessories and this stability base is no different. It is great for taking shake free video and really helped me to line up my shot. I also appreciate that this same base can be used with my IPhone and my DSLR so I only have to buy one product and can easily switch between technology options based on the situation.
