I was so excited when I made this Purchase, and then I got the item and I was so disappointed. 1. I read WBM has the best Quality Salt Rock Lamps. The darker the Salt the better the Quality amd WBM is Top of the Line. The picture shows a Deep colored Salt Lamp that's filled to the top with Rocks and its Absolutely Stunning... Please see the pictures below. The first pic is the actual Lamp I received filled with all the Salt chunks they gave me. The next 2 pics are what they advertised. At least You coukd have sent me enough rocks to fill my Metal cage. The rocks dont cover the bulb. I wish they would make it right by sending me more rocks so I could fill my vase/metal cage whatever its called.. The coloring of the rocks is also enhanced but Im not gonna go there. I would like what was advertised and thats a cage filled with WBM Certified Himalayean Salt Rocks.. Im usally never disappointed with Amazon.... This totally made me wish I had gotten a solid Salt Rock Lamp..

Update 4/22/18: I have been using my Salt Lamp since I purchased it. It's a bit of a struggle because I try to build them in a mountain so that the bulb is fully covered by the rocks and there arent any gaps for light to pierce thru but with such a small amount of rocks thats really hard. I read that one buyer contacted the seller and they were sent extra salt rock's to fill the the Vase up. So I am going to contact the seller and see if they will make it right and send me enough salt rocks to fill the Vase.

I bought this a year ago. As with all salt lamps, it needs to be on for most of the day, every day, to keep the salt dry. It stopped working a few weeks ago, after excavating the bulb it was burnt out, but new bulbs didn't work... so I checked the outlet and the lamp over for something else that could be malfunctioning.

Then I noticed a depression on the back of the switch-- like it had melted. So I unscrewed the back and viola: burnt up circuits.

I can only say that I (and my neighbors in the building) are extremely fortunate that it didn't start a fire. And horrified that 1. other customers are reporting that the company is not accepting returns 2. that Amazon is still allowing the seller to sell this item.

Within 30 minutes of plugging in this lamp I heard a pop, looked over and the electrical cord had caught fire! Thankfully I was right there, able to rip it out of the socket, stomp out the flames, and avoid what would have become a quick house fire! The cord is burnt through, so is my rug, and my house smells of burnt plastic even hours later. DO NOT BUY THIS PIECE OF JUNK!!!

Not only is this a super cute bohemian style decoration it DEFINITELY does it's job when it comes to drying out and purifying your air.

I've been sick and congested for WEEKS (and in the way where no matter how hard you blow your nose nothing seems to come out even though you can feel sooooo much up there) and literally the first night I had this on (and not even on close to full power/brightness) I had a couple minutes where my nose was literally pouring and then by the time I woke up I was dried out in the best way possible!

I can't even imagine what result this would've had on full blast. But even having left it on all day with windows open and everything you can instantly feel the chair in air walking into the room versus the air in the rest of the house.

I LOVE THIS. considering getting more for other parts of the house 100% does it's job and is super attractive and eye appealing in the process.

If you're considering this item, stop and just BUY IT!

I purchased a Himalayan Salt Lamp after much research concerning all the wonderful and positive benefits they can provide. I was looking for all natural solutions for air purification as well as something to neutralize positive ions that are produced by all the technology, electronic devices and appliances we have in our home. So this was what I felt was at least worth giving a shot based on all that I had heard and read concerning them.

This lamp has completely exceeded all that I could have hoped for. I love the simplistic beauty of this piece. It produces such a warm, welcoming and relaxing glow. I especially love the dimmer switch that allows you to adjust the amount of light it produces. This works great when you want to leave it on over night, but don't want the light to be so bright that it keeps you awake at night. Even on the lowest setting, it is still just so beautiful. It truly is such a unique and beautiful piece that it would compliment any style or décor.

We have noticed many positive benefits since using this lamp daily. The air really does seem more purified. My husband had suffered for years with constant allergy and sinus problems. After implementing the use of this lamp as well as diffusing of essential oils, we noticed that his symptoms began to lessen and the repetitive sinus infections he once suffered from were a thing of the past. Some may notice benefits immediately, while personally I believe that this can take some time and provides the best results when used daily and long term. I know I will never be without at least one of them in my home. To be honest, I plan on purchasing at least two more lamps so I can have them in each bedroom as well as the living room.
