We bought these for puppy pads, because the other waterproof dog pads had bad reviews. I tested these Medokare pads against the Costco puppy pads, and they are exactly alike except these are a few inches bigger. Costco pads are only $15 for 100. My puppy has never peed on one, but I did pour a cup of water on both brands of pads, and shook it, and no liquid escaped. These are just like diapers, and gel up when they get wet, so if your dog's water spills on one, you have to toss it; it won't dry up to reuse.
