Sofitan more than Seitan
KarmaKiss✓ Verified Purchase•November 5, 2017
I wanted this to have more of a seitan texture but they are very soft. I didn't care so much that it didn't have much flavor because I can flavor them just fine. I'll eat them but not purchase again. The cans are sturdy and do not damage in shipping and have a decent shelf life. I've never had Oysters but my mom said put them in stuffing for mock oyster dressing. IDK.

Disgusting!! The texture is soggy. Definitely wasted my money on this. You are better off purchasing vital wheat gluten and making it from scratch or purchasing garden products.
I love it.

I like this stuff so much, I like eating it right from the can. I make sure to drain as much of the oil as I can before I eat it. I try not to get more than 2 cans once a month, mostly because it has a lot of sodium, but also because I will eat it every day.
Very tasty

I will certainly buy this again. I usually buy the Westsoy and that's very good but has to be refrigerated. This is just as good....looks and tastes the
same but so much easier to store. So if you like the Westsoy...you'll be fine with this and this may be a little cheaper.
