Don't buy this!!
Doug Macmillan•February 1, 2017
Had to replace my house water supply line, ordered the CashAcme EB45-U pressure regulator, (3/4") because my street line pressure is about 110 PSI, too high for the house. Upon receipt I was pleased, looked well made & made in USA! Bonus!
It was preset for 45 PSI, I increased the pressure to 60 PSI (the specs said up to 400 PSI on the inlet & up to 70 PSI on the outlet.) If one tap was opened it was fine, but when the toilet was flushed & the tap turned on there was loud noisy pulsing of the pressure. I confirmed the pressure was oscillating between 25-50 PSI with a gauge. I called the company, they are aware of the problem "it doesn't work for everyone" & they suggested I buy their larger model. I returned the valve (thank you, BuyForYourHome, the seller) & ordered a Watts 25AUB-Z3 Pressure Reducing Valve, 3/4", it is made in China but is working perfectly!!
