I'm not usually one to splurge on a product before reading reviews on here. However on this one I messed up. I received my product yesterday. Opened it today and it had been "charging" for going on 4 hrs. The LED indicator has been green but without it plugged in it doesn't turn on"¦this is when I came to the listing to see a previous question about the battery not being "rechargeable". When I turned the light on while plugged in the LED light is red (not sure why). Also the cable that was included with the product does NOT charge. I had to use a micro USB cable that I had laying around my house. Very disappointed in the $20 I spent

Very cute ring light. The way to adjust its different lighting is super cool. Rolling the gears switch right on the top, it gradually lights up which is possible for you to set the warm light or white light that you want. Five stars!

Defected item. It worked fantastic for a few hours, Then when I went to recharge with the wire it came with, after about 15 minutes in, I could smell something burning. The LED indicator for the charge/charging fried and had some what melted the case. It is a gorgeous light but to get an item you've been looking forward to get only to be a defected one, is very upsetting. I still want this light. I'm sure all I got was a defected one. I personally would prefer a replace if at all possible.

I contacted the seller directly to try and resolved the issue. Normally I'd return the item, request a refund and move on. However, I really liked the item so much, I just wanted a replacement. The seller responded shortly and after a very detailed email inquiring my issue with my item, the seller wanted to resolve the issue as well. A replacement was sent out and I received after two weeks. My original item was a manufacture defect and this could happen to anyone. I knew it was nothing to rant nor cry about. I reached out, provided an honest and detailed email as to my issue and the seller made it right. I didn't wait, I jumped on it and it got fix quickly. I am very greatful for the correction. It's worth every penny!

Now the light it self is absolutely gorgeous. There are two sets of L.E.D's. White and warm white. They are both really bright. The white gives off a slight blue tint. Where as the warm white gives off a yellow/slight orange tint.
The idea is to replace your built in flash for low lightning areas. The better the camera the better the quality your photos will create.
In my case, I'm rocking an LG v10. My camera has already has an excellent camera but the built in flash ruins photos. You get over exposure, horrible hues, and the dreadful red eyes. This clip on light got rid of all that. It gave a much more vibrant clarity to my low lighting photos.

For RAW image users it will make it much more easier to edit via light room (mobile) or photoshop.

The light is a true dimmer and is the ONLY light on the market I've seen that is advertise with dimmer but actually is. There is no button this has a dial dimmer which gives complete control of the amount of light you desire. You don't need to have it at max light. Just slight amount makes the photos stunning.

The only draw back is that it does take a while to fully charge. But that's where the LED indicator comes into play. Red for charging and green for complete. It has a built battery with a micro USB port.

Note: if you has a power hub with quick charge avoid pluging in this into that port. I strongly advise using a port with lower power, QI or a cable that does not support quick charge. It does tend to over heat when I plug into that port.

Over all, if you want more vivid like photos to your collection, this is definitely the way to go.

The company contacted me and shipped a new one. Customer support handled this issue extremely well. We will see how long this one lasts.

I've barely had this product a month and it's already broken. When it worked it was AWESOME. I've never dropped it and it's been in the pouch the entire time I've had it. Very disappointed.

My wife absolutely loves this! I bought it for her on February 1st & it still hasn't needed to be charged yet! It's truly a great product
