Bought this clock from another source about 3 years ago and just changed the battery for the first time. I keep it on a bakers rack in my breakfast room. It's very attractive, vintage looking, and keeps good time. The back has a decorative grill cover so it is pretty from both side, unlike most clocks. Yes, the grill is heavy plastic but you can't tell at all by looking and it matches the metal clock body perfectly. It's large enough to read from across the room. I paid more than this for mine but I have been very happy with it.

WHAT A PIECE OF JUNK!!!! What's wrong with this clock?? How about no second hand? How about the sides are metal, but the back is plastic and doesn't match the rest of the clock.....how about when I attempted to insert a battery, the container came apart..This is CRAP even by Chinese standards....
